ABOUT ME:

Cass is happiest with a pen and small sketchbook in hand and a sleeping dog warming her toes. When not drawing, you can often find Cass spending time with friends and having adventures in the Bay Area with her quirky little mutt, Eli. Growing up gender queer, her characters are charming and joyful but slightly misunderstood. 

Cass earned her MFA in Illustration from the University of Hartford in 2010 and works as a freelance illustrator and private art teacher. Cass’ career path has not been a straight line but a series of paths involving creativity, teaching, and time spent with children. Cass is inspired by vintage illustration, childhood cartoon characters, and tiny found objects.
